What is Nutrimedy?
Founded by Doctors and Dietitians, Nutrimedy is where Registered Dietitians - the only true medical nutrition experts - are digitally connected to anybody who wants or needs a little guidance in managing nutrition. Whether controling a chronic disease or simply trying to feel or perform one’s best, Nutrimedy Dietitians are made accessible to help people reach their personal goals, all without traveling, parking lots, or waiting rooms. With Nutrimedy, you can start your own virtual practice, augment your in-person practice or just make a little extra money on the side.
What does Nutrimedy offer?

Do I need to bring my own clients onto the platform?
While we encourage all our RDNs to bring their own clients onto Nutrimedy as a telenutrition solution, you do not need to bring your own clients onto the platform. As part of our offering, we match incoming clients with you so you will be able to expand your clientele.
How much does Nutrimedy cost?
Nutrimedy is free to join and stay on the platform in our growing network! We take a small portion of the visit cost to support the platform, but there is no charge to our dietitians.
Is there a contract?
We require an agreement to follow our terms and conditions while using the platform, however there are no binding contracts regarding practicing, so you can make changes to your availability at any time. Nutrimedy will only show your profile in searches if you have availability listed. Since we work hard to bring you clients, we do expect RDs to respond to messages and appointment requests within 24 hours or to communicate your availability to your clients.
Are only Registered Dietitian Nutritionists allowed on the platform?
As part of our efforts to ensure that every provider is vetted and at the highest level of technical and educational expertise, we only allow and support the use of RDNs on our platform.
If my client's organization covers nutrition or Nutrimedy sessions, how is this accounted for?
You client can go to "My Account" and select "Add Organization Benefit" and enter their information to verify eligibility, at which point visits can be scheduled.
Can I use this for my private practice?
Absolutely! We have worked with many dietitians who leverage our platform for their business. If you are interested in discussing this, we are are more than happy to set up a call by emailing email@example.com
Can I use this outside of the country?
Yes you can, however we can only support dietitians with licenses from the United States.

Is an iOS or Android App for Nutrimedy currently available?
Yes! we're very excited to announce that our Nutrimedy App for mobile devices has been released for both Android and iOS! Additionally, desktops, laptops and tablets are fully supported.
How do I connect with clients?
Once your profile is approved and you have selected your availability, clients can find you by entering your name during registration as an RD who invited them, finding your profile when they search for an RD and requesting an appointment, or by messaging you directly.. Once you are connected with a client, you can see their health survey, trackers, and send appointment suggestions to help with scheduling.
What conditions are served?
Nutrimedy Dietitians manage everything from Acid reflux to Zinc. The most common reasons people seek to work with our Dietitians are for weight loss, diabetes or pre-diabetes, acid reflux or heartburn, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, high blood pressure, sports nutrition, pregnancy, constipation or bloating, disordered eating, heart health or for general nutrition wellness.
What are the technical specs for me to use Nutrimedy?
Computer: Laptop or desktop computer (can be PC Windows or Mac OS)
Video: Web camera (internal or external)
Audio: Computer microphone, speakers or headset
Internet: High-speed internet connection (minimum requirement is 350kbps for high quality video conferencing)
Supported Devices: While Nutrimedy App is in development, desktop and laptop computers as well as Android phone and tablets (Android OS - with Chrome Browser) are fully supported. However iOS iPhones and iPads are not supported at this time. Once Nutrimedy App is complete, all devices will be supported.
Supported Browsers: Chrome (preferred), Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 9 and above. The Nutrimedy Dashboard is not supported by Safari for video visits.
